This is your typical supposed-to-be-witty blog site where I let you know all about me, my life, what I believe in, and all that jazz. Me? I’m a regular kinda guy, more “blue jeans and T-shirt” than Polo and Dockers though my new job has changed that somewhat as I haven’t had a chance to wear jeans in weeks!

My language — while off the clock — tends to be a bit “real”, meaning I say what I say, like it or not, but I do try to respect the sensibilities of others where I can, so pretty much everything but the “F-bomb” is used on a regular basis, like it or not.

I’m 43, newly-single but not looking for anything specific.

I have three feline landlords who let me stay with them (Mouse, Roux, and Katie).

I recently sold my Dodge RAM Daytona pickup to break the shackles of “the man” and get out of the hole. Thanks to George W. Bush, I couldn’t afford to drive or keep it anyway. I do however own a Honda Goldwing motorcycle that I pretend I ride for the gas mileage but in reality ride because it makes me extraordinarily happy.

Politically, I’m equal but fair in my disdain of all politicians regardless of party affiliation. Crooks, the lot of them, bending to please lobbying groups while always ignoring the proverbial 800-pound gorillas in the room.

I also feel the same way about most organized religions, having never found a single one that wasn’t operated as a business.

Faith is a great thing. Humans screwed it up and called it religion.

Philosophically, I’m a “leave-me-alone” kinda guy. It’s not that I’m introverted. I’m not. I love interacting with other people. I just think the America I grew up in has gone apeshit with political correctness and the freedom we once enjoyed no longer applies. In that respect, I feel a bit like a pariah because I don’t generally care what people do whether it’s gay marriage (why would they want to?) or religious extremists, as long as it doesn’t affect me personally.
