So… Last night, I got into Nashville about 5pm. On the way to the hotel, I hear the advert about “one night only! Sinbad!” at Zanie’s Comedy Club. “two shows, still tickets available”.

After checking in, I had about 30 minutes to get there and drove like a bat outta hell across town. Parked the truck — which, if you’ve ever been there, is no easy feat — walked in, and was told that “sorry, both shows are now sold out..”

Talk about a whirling vortex of disappointing suckage… That, and by the time I got back to the truck, it was completely blocked in, meaning I had to pretend it was a four wheel drive vehicle.
